Admissions Process

Our Admissions process is different for our youth organizations, and National Teams. Youth Organizations admissions will consist of handbook acknowledgement, athletic evaluation and tuition commitment acknowledgement. The following process below applies for our National Teams (Grades 8-12):

The HSA admissions process is designed to be transparent and supportive, ensuring that prospective students and their families understand each step involved. Here’s a brief overview:

1. Application Submission: Interested candidates must complete and submit an application form, which may include personal information, academic history, and extracurricular activities.

2. Documentation: Applicants will be required to provide supporting documents, including a Hudl link for their film, transcripts, a personal statement letter, and a letter of recommendation.

3. Interview: Selected candidates will participate in an interview to discuss their goals and aspirations, as well as to meet their parents. This helps ensure that the family’s expectations align with the program’s values and objectives.

4. Review Process: The admissions team conducts a thorough review of each application, considering the candidate’s academic performance, interview, and overall fit for the program.

5. Athletic Evaluation: Candidates will undergo an athletic evaluation that assesses their skills, game knowledge, and fitness measurements to determine their potential for participation in sports.

6. Tuition Commitment Acknowledgment: Parents will be required to complete a tuition commitment acknowledgment form, confirming their understanding of the financial obligations associated with enrollment.

7. Offer Letter: After the athletic evaluation, accepted students will receive an offer letter outlining their admission status and any further instructions.

8. Enrollment: Accepted students will complete enrollment forms and may need to attend an orientation session to prepare for their academic journey.

The HSA admissions team is committed to guiding families through each step and addressing any questions or concerns they may have throughout the process. This process is quicker than it reads but it ensures we are fostering athletes who model HSA values.
